RUSSIAN CHURCH OF TEXAS

Several times a year, our youth and church members, have the privilege to join our brothers and sisters from Tulsa, Oklahoma to go on Mission trips to Mexico. In preparation for each trip we pray, fast, and gather school supplies, hygiene products, clothes, shoes, and toys. During our time in Mexico, we visit the places where the Lord leads us to. In the past we have gone to children's homes, daycares centers, schools, nursing homes, parks, shelters, and street preaching.Our program is simple: Present the Gospel, sing, pray, pass out food (rice, flour, beans, etc.) and goody bags or toys for the kids. Each time we encounter problems and spiritual opposition from the Enemy, but we also rejoice as we witness the miraculous hand of the Lord at work. The Lord always provides a translator for the preaching. The youth sings in Spanish, English and in Russian (but mostly in Spanish) and takes part in praying & interacting with the people there.
